Low-stock alerts
Get reorder alerts and count stock across places.
What it does
When to use
- Flour, cream, or sauce should trigger a buy before Free low-stock. Par is the target, and Reorder alert is the buy-now point.
- A chilli sauce or cream batch needs a lot code, and later you must see which weekend orders used that lot.
- Friday's batch is made at home; Saturday the truck or stall needs a transfer. Saturday morning needs expected vs counted.
Examples
- Food truck transfer: Friday cookies in Home kitchen. Saturday 06:30 transfer 40 cookies to the truck.
- Saturday count: stall expected 3 sacks of flour, counted 2. Variance −1. Post so Inventory matches.
- Sauce lot: receive LOT-A12. Sunday orders KD-1044 and KD-1048 used it. Lookup LOT-A12 to see those two.
When not to use
- Daily on-hand, used-after-making, restock after shopping: Free Inventory.
- Expiry date + in-shop reminder: Scan stock (complementary, not a copy).
- Station waste: Waste log. Taking spoiled stock off. Waste on the Make page. Team roster. Staff shifts. Barcode guns / a warehouse stock system. Not this product.
