Waste log

What it does

When to use

• Trim, drops, or over-prep at a named station should show as baht, not a story at close.
• A café, florist, or truck has more than one work station and you need to know where the waste happened.
• You already take spoiled stock off with Make → Waste and now want a fast station tap, not another ingredient line.

Examples

• Oven trim: the Saturday croissant station trims 200 g of dough. Tap oven → trim → 200 g → ฿18.
• Café cold bar: melted iced drink dumped at close. Tap cold → over-prep → 1 piece → ฿45. Not a yield log.
• Florist cut: woody stem ends in the bucket. Tap cut → trim → 12 stems → ฿30.

When not to use

• Spoiled stock, a failed batch or a giveaway that should come off stock. Waste on the Make page.
• Actual vs planned yield on a recipe. Today's prep list Yield.
• AI location cameras, or inventory deduct from this tap. Fridge °C equipment log is Fridge temperature log.

Features

• Tap where it happened: a work station, the fridge or the counter.
• Tap a reason: trim, drop, over-prep, hold spoil, sample, other.
• Type qty + unit and approx baht. Picking a stock item is optional. This tap doesn't change your stock.
• Log. The week panel totals what each station lost (Monday to Sunday, the shop's week).
