What it does

When to use

  • A sack or tub is opened and you want a lot code on a sticker you can paste into chat.
  • Two open lots of the same Free ingredient exist and you want the older one listed first.
  • You want a batch note or a formula/product chip as a reference only.

Examples

  • Flour opened Monday and Friday: Monday is pick order 1. Stock qty is unchanged.
  • A held tub stays off the oldest-open list until you set it open or in use again.
  • Turning this tool off doesn't change your recipe costs or stock. No certified FIFO badge.

When not to use

  • Allergen changeover (Allergen clean-down). Packaging seal check. FDA pack-label (Thai pack label). Supplier delivery accept.
  • Rewriting Free stock qty or formula / materials list cost. This card does not.
  • A warehouse system, or a certified FIFO claim. Never.

Features

  • New lot → Free ingredient link, lot code, open/receive date, optional use-by, status open / in use / empty / held.
