One bouquet of 12 roses

  • 12 roses at ฿20 a stem฿240
  • Greenery฿40
  • Wrap and ribbon฿30
  • True cost฿310
Sell at ฿650
keep ฿340
margin about 52%

Roses cost ฿1,000 for 50, so one stem is ฿20. Twelve roses are ฿240. Add ฿40 of greenery and ฿30 of wrap and ribbon, and the bouquet costs ฿310. Sell it at ฿650 and you keep ฿340, a margin of about 52%. That is a price you can explain to any customer.

Adding 50% to the cost does not mean you keep 50%

How to price a bouquet: margin, not markup

Margin is the share of the price you keep after the true cost.

Markup adds a share of the cost on top. Margin is the share of the sell price you keep, and KamraiDee prices from margin. With made-up numbers, doubling a ฿310 cost to ฿620 is a 100% markup, but it leaves a margin of 50%.

Example · made-up numbers
Markup on cost100%
Margin you keep50%

Doubling ฿310 to ฿620 is a 100% markup, but a 50% margin.

FAQ

Florist pricing questions, answered plainly

How do I calculate what one bouquet costs?

Divide what you paid for a bunch, shipping included, by the stems in it to get the cost per stem. Then add up the stems, greenery, wrap and ribbon in the design. With made-up numbers, roses at ฿1,000 for 50 are ฿20 a stem, so 12 roses (฿240), greenery (฿40) and wrap and ribbon (฿30) cost ฿310.

How do I set a bouquet price that makes a profit?

Start from the bouquet's true cost, then choose your margin, which is the share of the price you keep as profit. KamraiDee shows the price that leaves that margin. With made-up numbers, a bouquet that costs ฿310 and sells at ฿650 leaves ฿340, a margin of about 52%.

What is the difference between margin and markup for flowers?

Markup adds a share of the cost on top. Margin is the share of the sell price you keep, and KamraiDee prices from margin. With made-up numbers, doubling a ฿310 cost to ฿620 is a 100% markup, but it leaves a margin of 50%.

Is there a separate KamraiDee app for florists?

No. Florists get the same KamraiDee app as every other shop type, at the same price. Choosing florist changes the labels and sample items to stems, arrangements and bouquets.

Is KamraiDee free for florists?

Yes. It's free to join. Once you join, you get stock with shipping in the cost, bouquet recipes, products with their profit, packaging included, orders and a calendar. Customers pay you directly with your PromptPay QR. The shop page is in English and Thai. You also get the Waste tab, where wilted stems are logged in baht at what each stem cost you. See pricing

Can I see bouquet orders by delivery date?

Yes. In KamraiDee every bouquet order sits on the calendar on its due date, with the customer's name.

Can I price a new design without signing up?
