Kitchen shift handover

What it does

When to use

• The morning shift leaves a note the next shift should actually see.
• A few open tasks should sit on the card, not in a chat scroll.
• The next shift taps ack, and the time is stored.

Examples

• Morning batch: label “Morning”, note “butter block still cold”, one open task “shape the 4pm dough”. Status sent.
• Next shift: open the card, tick the dough line, tap ack. The time is Bangkok. Stock stays put.
• Close note: “oven 2 still warm, do not load tarts”. It is a note. It does not open or close the shop.

When not to use

• A café open/close book. Never this card.
• Food-truck stall open (power, water, pitch, cash float). That is Stall opening checklist.
• A staff-shift roster, or who is on the pass. That is Staff shifts. Not a time clock. Not payroll. Not Free formula, materials list, cost, or stock.

Features

• New card. Shift label and the shop’s day. Status starts as draft.
• Type the outgoing note. Add up to eight open tasks and tick them when done.
• Send to the next shift. They tap ack. The timestamp stays. Today and the recent Bangkok window list the cards.
